Core Premise

The Seven Kingdoms are certified through the Blood-Oath marriage network. Heirs must connect to the system through marriage, and the emotional convergence between the two bound people determines how deeply territorial memory awakens. Those who keep the oath inherit part of the other family's memory; those who break it watch their bloodline wither across generations.

Official history records only seven kingdoms. But the Eighth Kingdom once helped design the Blood-Oath system before being legally erased through one of its own loopholes.

Core Conflict

Yinluo, the female heir of the Golden Crown Kingdom, must complete a marriage bond with Houren, an execution officer of the Blood-Oath Tribunal, in order to stabilize her succession. But the system has judged them to be the first Prime Match in centuries.

If they truly fall in love, the system will bypass the archives of the Seven Kingdoms and open the buried memory of the Eighth Kingdom. The deeper Yinluo loves, the more complete the truth becomes—and the more she resembles Yan Fei, the last queen of the Eighth Kingdom.

Three-Act Structure

Act I: Marriage as Trap

During her inheritance trial in the Golden Crown Royal Mausoleum, Yinluo loses control of territorial memory and sees a red palace that does not exist in official history. A mark from the Eighth Kingdom appears in her right eye. The Tribunal rules that she must complete a Blood-Oath marriage immediately or her succession will become unstable. Houren arrives and announces that the system's best match is not a prince—but him.

Act II: Love as Access

The Seven-Night Blood-Oath Validation begins, forcing the pair to live together in the Blood-Oath Palace. Every argument, touch, and moment of trust deepens their shared territorial memory. Yinluo uses Houren to reach the memory of the Eighth Kingdom, while Houren cooperates even while knowing he is being used—because he also needs the truth.

Act III: Betrayal, Atonement, Rewriting

Yinluo learns that Houren knew from the beginning that only her true love could open the buried memory. Their relationship breaks apart. At the Seven Kingdoms council, she reveals the truth of the Eighth Kingdom, triggering system backlash against Houren. He destroys his execution authority, and Yinluo ultimately uses the authority of their Prime Match to rewrite the Blood-Oath rules.

Episodes 1-3

Episode 1: The Red Palace Vision in the Royal Mausoleum

The inheritance trial begins, and Yinluo sees the Eighth Kingdom for the first time.

Summary

Deep in the Golden Crown Royal Mausoleum, Yinluo completes the inheritance trial. She expects to receive only the memories of Golden Crown ancestors—rivers, mineral veins, court betrayals, and border tax routes. Instead, the trial spirals out of control and reveals a red palace that belongs to no known history of the Seven Kingdoms.

Inside that palace are burning marriage scrolls, a sealed gate, and the silhouette of a woman wearing a broken gold crown. When Yinluo wakes, a dark crimson stain lies beneath her right eye. The mausoleum priests fall silent in terror, and Yinjue orders the trial record sealed.

Houren, the youngest execution officer of the Blood-Oath Tribunal, arrives at Golden Crown Palace. He calmly inspects Yinluo's eye-mark, the trial record, and the mausoleum anomaly. Yinluo assumes he has come to decide that she is unfit to inherit, and meets him with open hostility.

Houren recognizes that the dark crimson pattern in her eye resembles sealed records tied to the Eighth Kingdom, but chooses not to expose her before the envoys of the Seven Kingdoms. Instead, he suppresses part of the record to keep the others from learning too much too quickly.

Yinluo sees it as a scheme to seize control of the Golden Crown Kingdom. Houren sees her as a dangerous system flaw.

At the pre-marriage ritual, they cut their palms and let their blood touch. In that instant, Yinluo sees the night before the Eighth Kingdom fell: the Red Palace in flames, marriage scrolls burning, and a man who resembles Houren closing the palace gate. She becomes convinced that Houren's bloodline participated in the deletion of the Eighth Kingdom.
